Crafted from exceptionally soft cotton loopback fabric, its internal loop stitch is specially designed for warmth and insulation. Featuring a V-stitch insert and rib cuffs, it is highly versatile – perfect with a jacket or paired with matching sweatpants.

The Loopback Sweatshirt is an icon of modern menswear innovation. Originally created as a practice jersey for American football in the 1920s, its loopback fabric featured tiny cotton loops on the reverse for lightweight insulation and ease of movement.
In 2009, former Sunspel creative director Jonathan Anderson reimagined this athletic classic in a softer, more luxurious cotton with a clean, contemporary fit – combining heritage functionality with understated modern style.
Years later, Brad Pitt wore the Loopback Sweatshirt in F1, cementing its status as a modern classic on and off screen. Costume designer Julian Day called it “a real obvious choice” for its stylish simplicity and versatility.
