A truly local luxury British wool jumper, made entirely within 150 miles of our factory in Long Eaton. The wool comes from rare Bluefaced Leicester sheep, which yield the finest fleece of any sheep in England. The jumper has a rib stitch and a soft, close rib neck. In a selection of beautiful undyed shades that reveal the pure natural colour of the wool.

For this unique jumper we worked closely with Uplands Yarn to achieve a completely British supply chain. The Bluefaced Leicester sheep are bred in Lancashire and Yorkshire, and the fleece is transported to Bradford where it is both scoured and spun. It is then knitted and finished in Leicester. A rare thing – a genuinely local British jumper.

Luxury British Wool

This season we have begun using an extremely special British wool with a rare softness. The result garments are truly local jumpers: farmed, scoured, spun and knitted in England, all within 150 miles of our factory in Long Eaton.

British wool is usually harsh to the touch, but this remarkable luxury wool is something quite different. It comes from specially bred Blue Faced Leicester sheep, which are grazed in Lancashire and Yorkshire using traditional methods and produce the finest and longest fibre of any sheep in Britain. The wool is then spun by specialists in Bradford and the final jumper is knitted in Leicester. Undyed and using the natural tones of the raw fleece, this is a beautifully soft, 100% British jumper.
