We made one of the world’s first T-shirts and have been perfecting it for over 100 years. Our Classic T-shirt is handmade in the Sunspel factory in Long Eaton, England, using the finest, extra-long staple Supima cotton that can be traced to its Californian farm of origin.
The fabric - a unique Sunspel development - is lightweight, durable and exceptionally smooth against the skin. With a slim fit, it is essential to every wardrobe. We believe it is the perfect T-shirt.

A T-shirt like no other
Sunspel has been making T-shirts for over a century, with a focus on garments designed to be worn close to the skin. The Classic T-shirt reflects that history and remains central to the collection today.
Each T-shirt is made by hand in Sunspel’s factory in Long Eaton, England, using extra-long staple Supima cotton that can be traced back to its Californian farm of origin. The fabric is developed in-house to achieve a balance of softness, durability and breathability, with a smooth feel against the skin.
Cut with a slim, clean silhouette, it is designed to work on its own or as a base layer. It is a piece people return to not because it draws attention, but because it feels right and wears well over time.
