Our classic slim-fit jeans have a mid rise and are updated and reworked with a lighter denim with a slight stretch. Available in a dark rinse wash and a mid wash, they are made using premium 13oz Japanese denim fabric, crafted by Kuroki Textiles (est 1950).
The denim is rope dyed, a time-intensive process that gives a rich indigo, and river water used by the mill is ethically recycled for use in the rice paddies of Okayama. Signature details include custom-branded buttons and rivets and logo-embossed leather patches.

Japanese Denim
Our Japanese denim is made for us at the Kuroki mill in the city of Ibara, Okayama. Since 1965 the factory has specialised in rope-dyeing denim, a technique that gives a rich indigo colour and allows the fabric to develop an authentic fade. The Kuroki mill carries out the entire process from dyeing to weaving to finishing the denim. The natural water that flows past the mill is used to soften the fabric – and after use the water is treated and returned to the river to irrigate the local fields.
The weight of our denim is 13oz, making it a light to midweight denim, and it is given a slight stretch to enhance the comfort further. We offer a simple choice of dark rinse wash or regular wash and two fits – slim or regular.
